Kyiv – In a detailed briefing today, Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi provided an extensive update on Ukraine’s ongoing defense operations, with a particular focus on the Pokrovsk direction. As Ukraine presses forward, the Kursk operation continues to hold strategic significance, with future actions in this foothold already under careful consideration by military leadership.

    President Zelensky convened a high-level meeting with his Staff to address critical issues facing Ukraine as the war grinds into the fall and winter months. Among the most pressing topics were the intelligence reports presented by the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, which revealed the latest Russian strategies for the upcoming cold season. These reports, Zelensky noted, were detailed and comprehensive, painting a stark picture of Russia’s ongoing efforts to prolong the conflict.

    One particularly alarming aspect of the report was the confirmed involvement of North Korea in supporting Russia’s war efforts. In addition to this, Zelensky highlighted the deepening ties between Russia and certain countries that are contributing to prolonging the war, further complicating the geopolitical landscape.

    In response, the President gave clear directives to Ukraine's Defense Forces, security services, and diplomatic corps. Zelensky promised that any country aiding Russia would face a strong and decisive response. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with Ukraine’s international partners to thwart Russian efforts. "We will respond as toughly as necessary to defend Ukraine," Zelensky said, reaffirming that Ukraine’s determination to defend its sovereignty remains unwavering.

    Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna also delivered a crucial report on the ongoing diplomatic efforts in Washington and other key capitals. As Ukraine continues to build its international coalition, discussions are ongoing about Ukraine's "Victory Plan," a comprehensive strategy to compel Russia to end the war justly. Military leaders are working closely with international partners to ensure that the military elements of the plan align with Ukraine's diplomatic objectives. This week, the Victory Plan will be shared with European allies, marking a significant step in solidifying international support for Ukraine’s path forward.

    On the domestic front, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Head of Ukraine's Production and Supply, provided a report on the progress of the nation’s defense industry. Kamyshin announced that over one million drones have been purchased and delivered to the frontlines, with additional contributions coming from volunteer organizations and international partners. These technological advancements are crucial for protecting Ukrainian soldiers and increasing the overall effectiveness of the armed forces.

    As the war continues, Ukraine remains focused on strengthening its alliances, boosting its domestic production, and refining its military strategies. Despite the immense challenges, President Zelensky and his team are determined to ensure that Ukraine emerges victorious.
