Zelenskyy Inspects Reconstruction Efforts in Kharkiv Region

Derhachi, Ukraine - During a working visit to the Kharkiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the town of Derhachi to inspect the progress of the reconstructed apartment buildings and engage with the local residents.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported to President Zelenskyy that 18 buildings, comprising 250 apartments, were rebuilt over the past year. Syniehubov highlighted the improvements made, including the installation of communications, restoration of facades, and the arrangement of public areas. Additionally, he noted that shelters, which had previously been unavailable, were provided to the residents. The local outpatient clinic is also undergoing restoration, with completion expected by October. In a presentation to the President, Syniehubov introduced a new project involving the construction of underground blocks at the regional hospital, where operating rooms are planned to be established. He further detailed that a total of 70 projects focused on housing and hospital reconstruction are currently being implemented in the Kharkiv region.
These initiatives are part of the Regional Program for Restoration, Development, and Maintenance of Life Support Systems in the Kharkiv Region during the period of martial law in Ukraine. Funding for these projects is sourced from the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
During his visit, President Zelenskyy conversed with the residents, who expressed their gratitude for the assistance in rebuilding their homes and voiced their hopes for the successful implementation of projects that would facilitate the return of Ukrainians to their homes.
