IDF Eliminates Key Hezbollah Commander in Lebanon
By Charles Hawes, Capital News
Tel Aviv, In a significant military operation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have successfully eliminated Muhammad Neamah Naser, the commander of Hezbollah’s Aziz Unit. This unit is notably responsible for orchestrating attacks from southwestern Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Naser, who assumed his position in 2016, was a pivotal figure in launching rockets and anti-tank missiles targeting Israeli civilians, communities, and security forces. His tenure was marked by numerous terror attacks directed at Israel, both during peacetime and wartime. His role within Hezbollah saw him occupy several critical positions before leading the Aziz Unit. The operation against Naser follows the elimination of Sami Taleb Abdullah, the commander of the Nasser Unit, last month. Together, Naser and Abdullah were among the most influential Hezbollah commanders operating in southern Lebanon, posing a significant threat to Israeli security. The IDF's action against these key figures underscores its ongoing efforts to neutralize threats and maintain security along its borders.
