Ukraine Gains Support

 By Charles Hawes, Capital News

Kharkiv – In a significant update from the front lines, the Commander-in-Chief announced that the Russian army has failed in its attempt to execute an operation in Kharkiv. Ukrainian forces are actively restraining Russian units, destroying those that invade Ukrainian territory and terrorize the Kharkiv region. Reinforcements have been deployed, with more on the way, ensuring a robust defense.

The situation in the Donetsk direction remains the most challenging, according to the Commander-in-Chief. Despite the difficulties, Ukrainian forces are working tirelessly to secure more reserves for the army. Recent negotiations and meetings in France have resulted in new solutions for Ukrainian defense, with both France and the United States pledging additional support. "Thank you, friends!" the Commander-in-Chief expressed gratitude for the international assistance. Significant progress has also been made in enhancing artillery capabilities, including the production of 155-caliber shells within Ukraine. Preparations are underway for a new manufacturing platform, further bolstering Ukraine's combat aviation and electronic warfare capabilities. The Commander-in-Chief extended special thanks to France and President Emmanuel Macron for their initiative and support in training Ukrainian warriors and providing brigades.

Commendations were given to the units demonstrating exceptional performance in combat this week. In the Kharkiv direction, the 36th Separate Marine Infantry Brigade and the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade received high praise. In the Donetsk region, the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade was acknowledged for its consistent efficiency. Additionally, the Defense Intelligence warriors, particularly the "Group 13" unit and the "Shaman" special unit, were recognized for their outstanding efforts. The Security Service of Ukraine, including the Center of Special Operations "A" and the Departments of Counterintelligence and Military Counterintelligence, were also commended for their contributions.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the importance of ongoing communication with international partners at every level. With the first Peace Summit just a week away, important meetings and negotiations with European leaders are on the horizon. These discussions aim to bolster Ukraine's resilience and protection from Russian aggression. Agreements have already been reached for additional air defense systems, with implementation scheduled for the near future and some extending into the fall. The Commander-in-Chief expressed deep gratitude to every leader and state providing practical support. New security agreements for Ukraine are nearing completion, marking a critical time for strategic decisions. May has seen an expansion of battlefield capabilities, especially at long range, and June aims to strengthen diplomatic and strategic perspectives. These efforts are intended to bring a just peace closer and empower Ukrainian society. The Commander-in-Chief concluded with a resolute promise: "And that's what it will be."
