Hamas Operations Dismantled

Shejaiya, Gaza – Troops of the 7th Brigade Combat Team have successfully conducted a raid in the Shejaiya area, targeting key Hamas terrorist infrastructure. The operation resulted in the destruction of a fortified combat compound and a command and control center that had been covertly established in schools and a clinic, repurposed from civilian use to support terrorist activities.

The Shejaiya Battalion, known for its militant operations, had entrenched itself within this compound, using it as a base for hiding and orchestrating various terrorist activities. During the intensive searches carried out by soldiers of the Rotem Battalion, a significant weapons production site was discovered and neutralized. The soldiers uncovered a large cache of weapons, including mortars, machine guns, and grenades. Alongside the armaments, intelligence documents belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization were found, hidden among equipment and uniforms bearing the insignia of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). This operation marks a significant blow to Hamas' operational capabilities in the Shejaiya area, disrupting their command and control structures and eliminating a crucial hub for their terrorist activities.
