Rafah, June 24, 2024 – The Nahal Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 162nd Division, continues its strategic operations in the Rafah area, employing precise, intelligence-driven tactics to target and eliminate terrorist threats. Over recent weeks, Nahal Brigade soldiers have been actively conducting intelligence-based scans, resulting in significant findings and actions against terrorist infrastructure.

One notable operation involved the Nahal Reconnaissance Battalion, which discovered a substantial cache of weapons hidden within a civilian residence. The arsenal, concealed in wardrobes, included grenades, explosives, anti-tank missile launchers, ammunition, and other arms. This discovery underscores the ongoing efforts to locate and neutralize threats hidden in civilian areas. In another intelligence-led operation, a drone scan revealed a tunnel shaft located beneath a child's bed. Further inspection of the residence uncovered a clandestine passageway in the wall, constructed by Hamas operatives to facilitate movement between densely populated neighborhoods. These findings highlight the complex and covert nature of the terrorist networks in the region. The brigade's Fire Control Center played a crucial role in these operations, successfully targeting and destroying a weapons storage facility. The strike on this facility resulted in secondary explosions, indicating the presence of a large stockpile of weapons, further debilitating the operational capabilities of the terrorist factions. The ongoing efforts of the Nahal Brigade demonstrate a committed and methodical approach to combating terrorism in Rafah, emphasizing the use of precise intelligence to minimize civilian casualties and disrupt terrorist activities. The operations continue to evolve as new intelligence is gathered, ensuring that the threat posed by these networks is systematically dismantled.
