First Lady Olena Zelenska Honors Children Victims of Aggression at Memorial Event

KYIV, June 4, 2024 – Today, First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, participated in a poignant event marking the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression and the Day of Remembrance of Children Who Were Killed as a Result of the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The solemn ceremony was held at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War Memorial Complex, a location steeped in historical significance and a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict.

    The event drew attention to the tragic impact of the ongoing conflict on the most vulnerable – children. In a speech that was both emotional and resolute, Zelenska emphasized the critical need for international awareness and action to protect children in conflict zones.
